For Plastic Free July, we wanted to shine the spotlight on our zero plastic packaging, but also ways to reuse your MAP candle vessels after use.
We believe that how our products are made, is just as important as why. Every MAP - Mother Apothecary product is made with 100% Natural Aromatherapy essential oil blends, and to reduce our impact on the planet all of our packaging is made with FSC paper and we use recyclable glass vessels with all of products.
Approximately 200 million tonnes of single use plastic waste is generated globally each year. A significant portion of this waste, around 46%, ends up in landfills.
When plastic waste is not recycled and discarded into landfills, it becomes an environmental pollutant. Each year one to two million tonnes of Plastic Pollution enters our oceans, affecting wildlife and ecosystems.

We believe that less plastic = less waste, can only be a good thing for our planet.
